Competition Purpose
Transform discarded materials by reshaping, adding creativity, and recombining them to give them new functions and aesthetic value. This activity encourages citizens to recycle waste, reduce garbage production, and raise awareness of waste reduction at source.
Participants
- Open Category: No age limit
- Youth Category: Ages 12–16
- Junior Category: Ages 6–11
- Holders of a Macau Resident Identity Card can participate as individuals or groups. Each participant/group is limited to one submission.
Competition Rules
- Maximum artwork dimensions: 1.5m (H) x 1m (L) x 1m (W)
- The judging panel consists of professionals and representatives from the organizing department.

- Creativity: 30%
- Aesthetics: 30%
- Completeness: 20%
- Material Application: 20%

Important Notes
- All submitted artworks become the property of the organizer.
- Artworks must be sufficiently sturdy. The organizer is not responsible for any damage incurred during transportation.
- The organizer's selection committee has the final decision-making authority.
- Entry forms can be downloaded from the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IACM) Environmental Information webpage.
- Winners will be announced on the IACM Environmental Information webpage on June 3, 2016.
