Original Song Album Production Subsidy Scheme 2014
The Cultural Affairs Bureau (ICM) launched the inaugural Original Song Album Production Subsidy Scheme to further promote the development of Macao's music industry. The maximum subsidy for each approved album is MOP 200,000.

- Application Period: September 29 to November 27, 2014
- Objective: To provide more opportunities for local music creators and producers to publish their work, accumulate high-quality compositions, and prepare for market expansion.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Applicants must hold a Macao Permanent Resident Identity Card.
- Applicants can apply as an individual, a joint producer, or a group, serving as the project's lead person and album producer.
- Applicants must have experience producing a specified number of publicly released songs or have previously served as an album producer.
- Eligible albums include solo albums, vocal group albums, or band albums.
- The subsidy can be used for music production, cover design, and promotional expenses.
- The completed album must have a minimum print run of 500 copies and be commercially released on at least one digital music platform.
Application & Selection Process
- Applicants must submit three "sample songs," a project proposal, and related documents for selection.
- A jury composed of local and international music industry professionals, invited by ICM, will select up to eight recipients.
