The Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IACM), in conjunction with the Macao Federation of Neighbourhood Associations and the Macau Floriculture & Horticulture Business Association, is organizing the "Happy Green Thumb: Organic Vegetable Planting" greening workshop. It will be held on May 10 at the Civic Education Centre of the Macao Federation of Neighbourhood Associations. Citizens are welcome to register.
Living in a concrete jungle for a long time makes one yearn to experience nature and breathe fresh air. With the fast pace and high stress of modern life, planting vegetables at home is an excellent choice. Gardening can relieve stress, exercise the body, and relax the mind. While planting, you can exercise, enjoy healthy and nutritious vegetables, create a green windowsill at home, increase your knowledge of vegetables, learn to better appreciate the fruits of your labor, and experience the green life of vegetable cultivation.
To continue the spirit of Greening Week, the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau will hold the "Happy Green Thumb: Organic Vegetable Planting" greening workshop from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on May 10. The venue is the Civic Education Centre of the Macao Federation of Neighbourhood Associations (Unit 2AB, Hop Wo Industrial Building, 163-165 Avenida do Almirante Lacerda, Macau. Tel: 28259841). The workshop will introduce knowledge on planting vegetables, cultivation techniques, and maintenance methods, while also beautifying the home environment and relieving life stress. There are 30 spots available for this workshop, with a fee of MOP 20.
