Course Overview
This intensive two-day training program is designed for educators to master the Orff Schulwerk approach to music education. The course focuses on practical teaching methods, creative movement, and interactive music game design.
Course Objectives
- Orff Music Pedagogy Theory: Understand the foundational principles of the Orff Schulwerk method.
- Teaching with Orff: Learn to teach nursery rhymes, body movement, and percussion ensemble techniques using the Orff approach.
- Interactive Game Design: Design engaging, interactive music games based on Orff methodologies.
- Introduction to Creative Movement: Explore the fundamentals of creative movement and its integration with music education.

Course Instructors
- Main Instructor – Maggie Ho (何美茵): Course Director of Orff4Kids. With over 10 years of experience in Orff music education, she possesses extensive training and practical teaching expertise in the Orff method.
- Creative Movement Instructors – He Ruiting (Hippo Teacher) & Chen Tingyin (Ding Ding Teacher): Both graduates of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in Modern Dance. They have served as instructors for the "Dare to Move!" body education program at Taiwan's Cloud Gate Dance School. They are dedicated to promoting creative movement to enhance children's physical expression, creativity, and sense of rhythm and music.
Expected Outcome
Upon completion, participants will be able to apply the concepts of Orff pedagogy in their teaching practice, promoting this excellent educational philosophy to a wider audience.
