About the Instructor: Mei Qiwen (Wenwen)
- Graduated with a Master of Philosophy in Musicology from the University of Hong Kong in 2010.
- Has been actively involved in music education and arts promotion since graduation.
- Completed the three-level Orff Schulwerk teacher certification between 2011 and 2013.
- Received scholarships from the San Francisco International Orff Institute for two consecutive years.
- Moved to Hawaii in 2012, where she received a scholarship from the Taiko Center of the Pacific to study Japanese Taiko drumming under a master instructor.
- Has performed and taught Taiko drumming worldwide.
- Expertly blends Orff pedagogy with Taiko art to create comprehensive and effective learning experiences.
