Overview

The Higher Education Services Office (GAES) is organizing the "Opportunity Creation II – Entrepreneurship Study Tour." This program will take students on a two-day visit to Zhongshan, Nansha (Guangzhou), and Qianhai (Shenzhen) from August 16 to 17. Participants will explore key innovation hubs, including the 760 Cultural and Creative Industry Park, Chuanghuigu – Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Cultural and Creative Community, and the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Dream Factory. The tour also features networking sessions with representatives from Macau-based enterprises operating in these areas, providing firsthand insights into the latest entrepreneurial support policies and development trends within the Greater Bay Area.

Objectives

To provide tertiary students with a macro-level understanding of the entrepreneurial platforms and related support mechanisms developed through Guangdong-Macau cooperation, and to enhance their knowledge of youth entrepreneurship and new technology developments within the Greater Bay Area.

Eligibility

1. Students currently enrolled in higher education programs in Macau.
2. Macau students enrolled in higher education programs at institutions outside Macau.
3. Macau residents who completed their higher education programs between 2017 and June 2018.
