A promising young man, Du Ruozhou, accepts an invitation to become a teacher in Oolong Town, hoping to spread knowledge and make a difference. Upon arrival, he discovers the townsfolk live up to the town's name—each possessing their own unique and bewildering 'Oolong' quirks! Through his diligent efforts to educate, he meets the charmingly muddled young woman Zhu Yushi and uncovers the astonishing secret behind why everyone in Oolong Town is so 'Oolong'. Just as Du Ruozhou sets out to help the townsfolk change their ways, a critical event forces him to consider leaving, with serious consequences if he stays. What is the obstacle preventing him from achieving his goal? How will he choose between helping others and saving himself?
Following their previous success "Close to Home", Macao Theatre Society once again collaborates with renowned Hong Kong stage director Mr. Mak Cho to produce more light-hearted, humorous, and meaningful works for the local audience.
