About the Competition
The Old Border Gate District, one of the oldest business districts in Macau, is a new landmark that combines local place-based cultures and modern creative entrepreneurs. We are now looking for a new logo design. The winning work will be used for wide-ranging marketing communications and promotions for the revitalization of The Old Border Gate District.
Design Theme
Designs should adhere to the concept of "the oldest commercial district is now re-emerging as a new attraction, gathering local cultural creativity and serving as a local food street." The logo composition must include the text "關前老街 The Old Border District".
Submission Requirements
- Design Brief: Must include a brief description (not exceeding 300 words, in Chinese or English) explaining the design concept.

- All entries must be presented in A4 document size (210mm x 297mm).
- Use vector PDF format with an output resolution of 300 dpi.
- Both color and black/white versions must be included on the same page.
- Logo size should not exceed 15 cm.
- Design should consider application across different materials and formats.
- Indicate standard colors and font types.
- Scanned or photographed hand-drawn works are not accepted.
- Shortlisted works will require submission of editable source files.
