Oar Making Workshop

Learn the traditional boat-building craft passed down through oral formulas like "去稜．倒稔" and "去六留四." This hands-on workshop invites participants to create a miniature wooden boat oar with their own hands, celebrating the festive atmosphere of the Dragon Boat Festival. Through making a model oar, you'll experience the uniqueness of shipbuilding craftsmanship and learn about the different "wood properties" of various timbers, including hardness, water resistance, and common woods used in wooden boats.
