Competition Details
A photography competition focused on capturing the people, events, and objects within the Macau community.
Entry Categories
- Open Category: For Macau residents aged 18 or above.
- Student Category: For Macau students aged 13 to 25.
Competition Rules
- Photos must be the original work of the participant.
- Photos must focus on community-related people, events, or objects.
- Photos must be single, standalone images. Composite images created with computer software are not allowed.
- Each participant may submit a maximum of 5 photos.
Submission Specifications
- Black & white or color photos are acceptable.
- Photo size must be 10R (10 inches x 12 inches).
- Photos must be mounted on 27cm x 32cm black hard card stock. A white paper with the entry number, photo title, and participant's name must be attached to the back of the black card.
Prizes
Open Category
- Gold Award (Community Impressions): Trophy + MOP 3,000.
- Silver Award (Community Impressions): Trophy + MOP 2,000.
- Bronze Award (Community Impressions): Trophy + MOP 1,500.
- Five Merit Awards: Trophy + MOP 500 each.
Student Category
- Gold Award (Community Impressions): Trophy + MOP 2,000.
- Silver Award (Community Impressions): Trophy + MOP 1,500.
- Bronze Award (Community Impressions): Trophy + MOP 1,000.
- Five Merit Awards: Trophy + MOP 200 each.
Required Submission Materials
- Completed application form.
- Physical photo(s).
- Copy of ID card.
- Digital file(s) of the photo(s).
Submission Method & Deadline
- Package all materials in an envelope clearly marked with the competition name.
- Submit in person to the Workers' Union Northern District Integrated Service Centre.
- Submission Period: July 25, 2013 – August 25, 2013.
