Competition Details
- Registration Period: From now until June 30, 2016
- Preliminary Round: July 2, 2016 at 11:00
- Final Round: July 24, 2016 at 19:00
- Venues:
- Preliminary: Macau Hot Blood Performing Arts Association
- Final: Macau Pak Wai Activity Centre
- Eligibility: Youth aged 15–29 (primarily secondary/university students and Macau residents)
- Entry Fee: Free
- Registration: Complete the online form or register in person at the association.
Prizes
- Champion: MOP 2,000 + trophy
- 1st Runner-up: MOP 1,000 + trophy
- 2nd Runner-up: MOP 500 + trophy
- Most Popular Award: MOP 500 + trophy
- Best Performing Art Image Award: MOP 500 + trophy
Competition Format
- Preliminary Round: Participants must prepare an accompaniment for their chosen song and submit it via email or in person before the competition. They will perform the first half of the song (within 2 minutes). The top 12 contestants selected by professional judges will advance to the final.
- Final Round: A panel of local experts will judge the performances (85% of total score), combined with audience voting (15%). Awards will be determined based on the highest scores. The Most Popular Award winner will be decided by online likes, while the Best Performing Art Image Award will be chosen by the judging panel.
Special Opportunity
The 12 finalists will have the chance to participate in the Taiwan 'Dream Voyage' Youth Music & Cultural Exchange Program and perform as singers in the Newborn Youth Music Show.
