Key Details
- Objective: To transform negative thoughts into positive, caring attitudes through creative design. The competition promotes the spirit of neighborly love and mutual assistance to overcome adversity and build a harmonious, inclusive community.
- Theme: Works should focus on community neighborliness, harmony, inclusion, and positive anti-adversity energy.
- Eligibility: Open to Macau residents.
- Submission Deadline: From now until August 2, 2013.
- Awards Ceremony Date: August 31, 2013 (tentative).
Submission Methods
- In Person: Submit at the 'União Geral das Associações dos Moradores de Macau' Areia Preta Community Service Centre, located at Shop A & D, Block 14, Guang Hua Sun Chun, Avenida do Nordeste, Areia Preta, Macau.
- By Fax: Send to 28765234, clearly marked with the competition title.
- By Email: Send to [email protected], clearly indicating participation in the competition.
Competition Categories & Prizes
Computer Design Group
- Champion (1): MOP 500 voucher and certificate.
- First Runner-up (1): MOP 300 voucher and certificate.
- Second Runner-up (1): MOP 200 voucher and certificate.
- Merit Award (3): MOP 100 voucher and certificate each.
Drawing Group
- Champion (1): MOP 500 voucher and certificate.
- First Runner-up (1): MOP 300 voucher and certificate.
- Second Runner-up (1): MOP 200 voucher and certificate.
- Merit Award (3): MOP 100 voucher and certificate each.
Common Award
- Community's Favorite Award (1): MOP 300 voucher and certificate.
Judging Criteria
- Relevance to Theme: 40%
- Creative Concept: 40%
- Expression Technique: 20%
Important Rules & Notes
- Each participant may submit up to three entries per category.
- Drawing Group: Entries must be drawn on A4 white paper.
- Computer Group: Entries must be 5.6 x 8.7 cm and limited to AI, JPG, or JPEG formats.
- Designs must not contain vulgar, indecent, or obscene elements.
- Entries must be original, unpublished works. Plagiarized winning entries will be disqualified.
- To encourage broader participation, the Champion, First Runner-up, and Second Runner-up prizes cannot be won by the same author.
- All submitted works will not be returned.
- The copyright of winning entries belongs to the organizer, who may use them for promotional purposes.
- The organizer reserves the right of final decision and interpretation of these rules.
