To implement the spirit of the Ministry of Education's policy documents, such as Opinions on Accelerating the Construction of High-Level Undergraduate Education and Comprehensively Improving Talent Cultivation Capability, and to inspire college students' enthusiasm for English learning while enhancing their grammar skills, the International Association for English Research has decided to host the National College English Grammar Challenge in 2022.
Grammar is a crucial English skill and a common weak point for Chinese college students. To address this, the competition is organized into four categories to allow nationwide participation:
Students from all grades and majors across China's universities are eligible to participate in the corresponding category. A certificate from this challenge can serve as important supporting material for academic honors, postgraduate recommendations, and study abroad applications.
