Overview
The Na Zha Belief and Customs of Macao were inscribed on the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2014. The Na Zha Birthday is celebrated annually on the 18th day of the fifth lunar month. Festivities are held at the Na Tcha Temple near the Ruins of St. Paul's and the Old Na Tcha Temple on Persimmon Hill, praying for the elimination of plagues and national peace and prosperity.
To better promote the "Na Zha Belief and Customs," a five-day Na Tcha Temple Fair and Market is being held this year. The market features creative cultural products, handicrafts, food stalls, and intangible cultural heritage performances, promoting traditional festival culture in a novel and interesting way.
