Iao Sin Kuan (Qiu Shanjun), a five-year-old piano prodigy, began her musical studies with Dr. Kam Cheok Weng at the age of one and a half. Under comprehensive and inspiring guidance, she has developed her full potential and laid a solid musical foundation. She has already memorized over 200 pieces and obtained the Grade 5 certificate from the Royal Schools of Music at the age of four. She is also preparing for the Grade 5 music theory examination.
Sin Kuan has extensive public performance experience, with an upcoming recital scheduled for December 2013 at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City. She is also an accomplished competitor, having won second prize in the American Protégé International Music Talent Competition (Spring 2013).

The Macao Pianists Association is dedicated to promoting the art of piano performance.
