April 26th is World Intellectual Property Day. The Macau Association of Composers, Authors & Publishers (MACA) aims to provide public education through this sharing session to increase awareness and understanding of music and copyright.
This session will explore the topic from multiple perspectives (including singers, creators, and young people). Following a chronological order (from vinyl records and CDs to the digitalization of music), participants will discuss the impact of the continuous change and development of music media on music itself, music creation, copyright, and related issues.
