About the Collection
The collection was donated in 2000 by the Macao Soka Gakkai International, represented by its Director, Mr. Li Laide.
- Ceramic Sculptures: Created by Master Liu Ousheng, a renowned Guangdong Province Arts and Crafts Master. He is celebrated for applying the bold, freehand brushwork style of traditional Chinese painting to his ceramic figure sculptures.
- Seal Carvings: Created by the late Macao master of calligraphy and seal carving, Lam Kan, and his disciples Wong Kwong Wa, Chao Sai Keong, and Ho Pan. This body of work not only reflects the individual artistic styles of the creators but also showcases a clear lineage of artistic transmission, representing a significant chapter in the development of Macao's seal carving art.
