A private "paper" party with music master Satie!
As the whimsical music of Satie plays, a simple fold of paper brings surprise! This year marks the 150th anniversary of the birth of French composer Erik Satie, hailed as the "Father of Contemporary Music." His unique musical style is filled with fun in every note and rhythm. In this production, a pure white stage transports you into a fairy tale. Accompanied by Satie's humorous music, playful dancers tinker with a piano, dance, play, and use paper to conjure up all sorts of magical objects: paper airplanes flying everywhere, tiny paper boats sailing to distant seas, and "special" paper hats that transform you and me into different characters... Young audiences on both sides of the stage are invited to participate in games and adventures, unleashing their creativity and solving puzzles!
Founded in 2008, Poland's pioneering children's theatre company, Atofri Theatre, specializes in awakening the boundless imagination of young audiences through dance, color, shape, and sound. Their works have been invited to perform worldwide, sweeping numerous awards, and consistently bringing the most creative joy to audiences of all ages.
