The second "Mowave Music Lecture" of the year is here!
This session continues to invite two experienced Macau musicians to introduce various types of electronic music equipment. Participants will have the chance to get up close and personally try out the gear, enhancing their understanding of electronic music.
Sou (Faslane) Sou is a member of the Macau electronic duo Faslane (the other member is Matthew Ho). Faslane released their debut album "Wartime Broadcasting Service" in 2017 and has performed at festivals such as Switzerland's LUFF Festival and Macau's Kill The Silence Festival.
Aeris Ho (Pyjamars) Aeris Ho is a member of the Macau band Pyjamars, whose style primarily includes Electro-pop, Disco, and Funk. Pyjamars' song "Wishing More False Satellites" was selected as a favorite song in the 2019 TDM "Song of the Year" election, and the band also won the championship in the "2018 All-Macau Youth Original Music Competition." Their songs have been included in compilations such as "Mowave: Paracusia" and "iBand 9." Their debut album "ORBservation" was slated for release in 2021.
Lobo Ip, Burnie
MOWAVE is a music initiative launched by numerous musicians in Macau. Since 2012, various musicians focusing on electronic, ambient, and experimental music have organized performances, workshops, lectures, and assisted with record releases under the MOWAVE name. They have also published music compilations: "Mowave: Soundscape" in 2015 and "Mowave: Paracusia" in 2018.
