Overview
Mountanha de Carvoeiro Park, also known as 'Screw Hill Park', is a historic public park situated on a small hill in Macau. Built in the late 19th century, it was once a popular spot for weekend picnics and outings. The park was renovated and reopened to the public in 1986.

Park Features & Facilities
- Iconic Screw-Shaped Viewing Tower: The park's central landmark is an artificial spiral viewing platform. Visitors can ascend via a winding path to enjoy panoramic views.
- Paid Children's Electric Car Track: Located next to the viewing tower.
- Operating Hours: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily.
- Fee: MOP 5 per 15 minutes.
- Age Suitability: For children aged 3 to 6. Please refer to on-site regulations for details.
- Other Amenities: Children's playground, fitness equipment, kiosk, and public toilets.
- Statue of Don Bosco: A statue erected near the Avenida do Ouvidor Arriaga entrance after the renovation.
Natural Environment
Despite its modest size, the park is home to a variety of native tree species, including Hackberry, Litsea glutinosa, Syzygium levinei, and others. Several Sterculia lanceolata trees line the forest edge, producing vibrant red seed pods with black seeds during summer and autumn, creating a unique seasonal spectacle.
Scenic Views
Historically, the hilltop offered views of the former 'Hac Sa Wan Beach'. Today, visitors can overlook the Areia Preta district and Rua dos Pescadores area.
