Workshop Overview

Everyone is their mother's treasure. As Mother's Day approaches, it's time to prepare a special holiday gift for your dear mom! Morinoe Art Education Centre from Macau, in collaboration with Go Out Mall, presents a limited-time Mother's Day workshop experience. Led by a professional instructor, you'll create a beautiful Japanese washi paper flower table lamp—a perfect Mother's Day gift that adds a touch of warmth and tranquility to any home. Limited spots available, so act fast!

Experience Details

Do you wish you could preserve the beauty of fresh flowers forever? This activity is perfect for you! Now you can use dried flowers and washi paper to create your very own lamp! The instructor provides artistic design guidance, so even those without confidence in art need not worry.

Morinoe values students' creative freedom. The instructor will explain the production process in class, and students can design their own floral lamp on drawing paper.

Workshop Process

• First, sketch the placement of the floral materials on the drawing paper.
• Trim the floral materials to the appropriate size with scissors.
• Apply a small amount of glue and adhere the dried flowers to the appropriate positions according to the sketch.
• After completion, apply a suitable amount of glue to the surface of the lamp fabric.
• Gently pick up the washi paper and align it with the edges of the lamp fabric to attach it.

Your unique Japanese floral lamp is now complete! Placing it on your mother's bedside table will remind her of the joyful time you spent creating it together every time she goes to sleep—truly meaningful!
