Join the Macao Science Center for a series of special Mid-Autumn Festival activities, featuring family workshops, traditional Chinese music, and astronomy-themed events. All activities are free to attend.
Activity Schedule
Mid-Autumn Parent-Child DIY Workshop
- Date: September 18–22, 2021
- Time: 14:00–16:00
- Location: Grand Lobby Exhibition Hall
- Details: Receive a free Mid-Autumn craft kit by showing staff that you follow the Macao Science Center's WeChat, Facebook, or Instagram account. A crafting area is available for children to make their creations on-site and take them home.
- Note: Kit designs are distributed randomly. Limited quantity daily, while supplies last.
Macao Youth Chinese Orchestra – "Melodies of the Full Moon"
- Date: September 18, 2021
- Time: 17:00–18:00
- Location: Grand Lobby Exhibition Hall
- Details: Learn about the origins and traditions of the Mid-Autumn Festival while enjoying classic moon-themed music, including "Autumn Moon on a Calm Lake," "Silver Clouds Chasing the Moon," and "The Moon Represents My Heart."
- Note: The first 30 attendees will receive a small souvenir.
Starlight: Exploring the Moon with Your Camera
