Performance: Me-Me

Finnish dance group Auraco brings the interactive dance performance Me-Me, specially designed for babies under 2.5 years old.

• Concept: In Finnish, 'me' means 'us'. Me-Me represents 'us' (the dancers) and 'us' (the audience). It is a dance co-created by the dancers and the babies, featuring warm and novel interactions, making each performance unique.
• About Auraco: Founded in 2006 in Finland, Auraco often performs in simple, even undecorated spaces, believing that the performance itself creates an interactive atmosphere. They create dance works annually for both young children and adult audiences and have been invited to perform in various cities across Europe and Asia.

• Venue: Old Court Building.
• Ticket Price: MOP 250 (one child + one adult).
  • Early Bird Discount: 20% off (MOP 200) for bookings made before March 1.

• This program is exclusively for babies under 2.5 years old (30 months) and their parents/guardians.
• Each child must be accompanied by only one adult.
• After submitting the booking form, staff will confirm your registration via email and arrange ticket collection and payment before March 14.

+ Workshop: How Dancers Play Dance with Babies

A 2-hour workshop sharing the experience and useful tips from Me-Me choreographer Päivi Aura, who creates routines and performances for babies aged 0-30 months.

• Topics: Learn how to lead babies in creating dance, utilize time and space, establish focus and trust, and facilitate communication between adult-child and dancer-audience.
• Date & Time: April 10, 2015, 19:00–21:00.
• Venue: Old Court Building.
• Target Participants: Individuals with dance or theater performance experience. Priority given to early childhood educators with such experience.
• Quota: Maximum of 12 participants.
• Fee: MOP 450 (MOP 400 for registrations before March 1).
  • Fee includes one ticket to the Me-Me performance.
