Introduction

The electrifying vibe of international theatre sweeps onto the stage with the visit of Matilda the Musical, a delightful tale celebrating youthful rebellion and the intense imagination of a girl who dares to challenge the odds!

Conceived by the Royal Shakespeare Company, this alluring masterpiece delights the whole family with an inspirational story. Matilda is an extraordinary girl with a vivid imagination and a sharp mind whose talents are constantly belittled by her cruel parents and headmistress. Dreaming of a better life, the young girl takes destiny into her own hands and rewrites her own story.

Bringing to life the twisted genius of British novelist Roald Dahl, with original songs by comedian lyricist Tim Minchin, this witty and playful adaptation by Dennis Kelly has garnered over 90 international awards, including 23 accolades for Best Musical and a record-breaking seven Olivier Awards.

Matilda's Asian tour offers a chance to enjoy an irresistible theatrical blast. Amid plenty of smiles and thrills, this spirited adventure plunges the audience into unforgettable moments of breathless fun!
