To learn more about Macao's maritime affairs, participate in the series of commemorative activities for "Maritime and Water Bureau Day" (July 18). The event offers visits to various historical and modern maritime-related buildings, interactive exhibitions, and a special boat tour.
Key Activities & Locations
- Government Dockyard (July 16–17): Showcases shipbuilding technology. The public can board ships and take photos.
- Guia Lighthouse (Saturdays & Sundays in July): This UNESCO World Heritage site opens its interior for a special exhibition of old navigation marks and light signal systems once used in Macao.
- Cheoc Van (Qingzhou Tang) Fleet Base (July 16, 17, 23, 24): Features interactive games suitable for families.
- Maritime Equipment Exhibitions, Fun Workshops, and Booth Games: Various activities organized by the Maritime and Water Bureau.
- "Maritime Fun Cruise" Activity (July 16, 17, 23, 24):
- Time: 10:00–12:00 & 14:00–17:00
- Details: 7 departures daily, approximately 45-minute cruise from Cheoc Van (Qingzhou Tang) to the Sai Van Bridge area.
- Tickets: Available via online registration or on-site queuing.
