Macau Youth Summit Forum - Key Event

The 2nd Macau Youth Summit, which began its preparation last October and formed its working committee this January, culminates in a major symposium on August 23rd. Registration is now open for this key event.

Organized by the British-Macau Public Affairs Society and the Macau Sino-Portuguese Students Association, the summit is co-organized by fifteen local and overseas Macau student associations, with sponsorship from Banco Comercial Português. The symposium features four themed forums:

Morning Session (9:30 – 12:45)

Economic Forum – Youth Entrepreneurship and Employment

• Speakers: Legislator Chui Sai Peng, Dr. Ho Ka Lun, Dr. Lao Chi Ngai

Civic Education Forum – Social Issues Behind Macau's Civilized City Image

• Speakers: Professor Tang Kwok Kwong, Director Lai Choi In, President Choi Weng Chi

Afternoon Session (14:30 – 17:30)

Political Forum – Youth Political Participation and Civic Duty

• Speakers: Legislator Si Ka Lon, Professor Agnes Lam

Transportation Forum – Perspectives on Transportation Policy: 1. Public Transport, 2. Private Vehicles, 3. Green Mobility

• Speakers: Legislator Lei Cheng I, Professor Kou Kun Pang, Dr. Li Zhanpeng
