About the Festival
Sinulog Festival is Macau's biggest annual Filipino festival, held since 2003. It is a vibrant dance festival to honor the Child Jesus (Santo Niño de Cebu) and commemorates the conversion of the Filipino people to Christianity over four hundred years ago.
Event Schedule
- 11:15 AM: Holy Mass at Selesiano School Chapel.
- 12:00 PM (Noon): Festival begins at Amizade Plaza with delicious Philippine food stalls.
- 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM: Grand parade featuring Santo Niño devotees in traditional attire. The parade, showcasing symbols of different Filipino communities in Macau, moves with the traditional Sinulog dance step (two steps forward, one step back).
- 4:00 PM: Stage program with cultural performances at the plaza.
