Macau Original Play '2x1.5'
The script participated in the 'First Draft' event by Friends Creation (Art) in 2019. It was subsequently invited to Hong Kong to participate in the 8th 'Playwrights' Workshop' organized by the Hong Kong Arts Centre and the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, where it was presented alongside new works by other Hong Kong playwrights.
Ah Keung moves from Macau to Hong Kong to study, living in a partitioned room on Pitt Street in Yau Ma Tei. He shares a 2-meter by 1.5-meter room with other tenants. An oppressive living space meets boundless, confusing ideals. In this unfamiliar, foreign land, the struggles of youth gradually become distorted.
(Performed in Cantonese)
