Event Overview
Macau New Year's Concert is another high-end local music brand presented by the Macao Youth Symphony Orchestra Association. On the eve of the New Year, it presents a high-level, Viennese-style New Year's concert for local residents and visitors, offering blessings and adding a festive atmosphere to the city.
The Guangzhou Youth Symphony Orchestra, also known as the "Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra Affiliated Youth Orchestra," is China's first youth orchestra managed and trained to professional standards, becoming a rising star among mainland youth orchestras. The Macao Youth Symphony Orchestra, fresh from its "U.S. Tour" in August, presents a new image. This time, they join forces with the Guangzhou Youth Orchestra, making its first visit to Macau, to form a large combined ensemble. Featuring world champion Huang Mengla and two renowned conductors, this promises to be an exceptional concert for the audience.
