Macau Mini International Volunteer Camp 2016

You don't have to leave Macau to travel. You don't have to spend a lot to broaden your horizons. Want to "leave home" for a while? You don't have to run away.

In 2016, the Macau Mini International Volunteer Camp lets you stay in Macau and experience a different side of city life beyond "school and work" together with volunteers from Hong Kong.

Your participation makes it more meaningful.

We hope everyone can better understand the concepts of international volunteer service—"Global Citizenship" and "Sustainable Development." Through workshops and simulation activities, reflect on the possibilities for societal and personal development, promote the exchange of ideas, spark innovative thinking to generate ideas for improving the Macau community, and then take action to make a change.

Key Information

• Theme: Viewing Macau Through the Lens of a Volunteer
• Activities: Night tour of World Heritage sites, exploring neighborhood stories, planning and preparing a flash mob promotion campaign.
• Dates: May 14–16, 2016 (3 days, 2 nights)
• Location: Macau
• Campsite: To be confirmed
• Target Participants: Young people aged 18–45 from Macau and Hong Kong
• Capacity: 22 participants (including Macau and Hong Kong participants)
• Fees: MOP 150 for members, MOP 300 for non-members (Payment must be made at the association's office within 3 days of submitting the application form to confirm registration.)
• Application: Interested individuals can fill out the online application form by May 6, 2016. (An interview may be conducted if necessary. Successful applicants will be notified by phone or SMS.)
