The Macau Jazz Promotion Association (MJPA) was founded in 2010 with a mission to preserve and promote Macau's jazz culture. The association provides local musicians with performance and learning opportunities, delivers high-quality concerts and events for jazz enthusiasts, and establishes a platform for exchange between music lovers and professional musicians, thereby highlighting Macau's multicultural identity.

The association also maintains a long-term partnership with the Rui Cunha Foundation to present the Weekend Jazz Night performance series.
The association's members are active throughout Macau's music scene, ranging from local students to professional musicians. This includes the Macau Youth Jazz Orchestra (MYJO), founded in 2020. Beyond performing at venues like the Dom Pedro V Theatre and the Orient Foundation, MYJO has been selected multiple times for the children's category of the Cultural Affairs Bureau's HUSH! Music Festival and is now divided into several ensembles.
For this anniversary concert, the association will mobilize all its members to perform, showcasing the ageless spirit of jazz to the audience.
