The Macau International Performance Art Festival (MIPAF) 2013 is an annual event that brings together international and Chinese artists for a unique exchange of live performance art.
This year's festival features nine artists from around the world:
MIPAF invites artists with diverse cultural backgrounds to perform and exchange creative approaches. Using their bodies as the medium, the artists create on-the-spot, real, and free performances. They employ various forms of expression to observe and critique their living environments, presenting their unique artistic languages to the audience. The festival aims to provide insights into performance art from different perspectives and enrich the artistic vision of all attendees.
