Overview
Macau Innovation Technology Center (Manetic) is organizing the Macau Information and Communication Technology Entrepreneurship Competition 2015 (InnoICT Entrepreneurship Competition 2015). This competition aims to cultivate more creative enterprises in Macau and promote the development of innovative ICT in the region. Designed for tertiary students, Manetic will provide winning teams with a genuine opportunity to implement their business plans, along with a series of rewards and hardware/software support from various organizing, sponsoring, and supporting units.
Competition Objectives
- Encourage and promote innovative thinking among Macau tertiary students.
- Foster local innovation and development in ICT, supporting students in realizing their entrepreneurial dreams.
- Strengthen cooperation and communication between the ICT industry and the education sector.
Team Composition
- Teams must consist of 1 to 5 students, who can be freely combined from different tertiary institutions.
- At least half of the team members must hold a Macau Resident Identity Card. Macau students studying abroad may also team up with local students.
- Past winners of this competition are not eligible to participate.
- Teams may invite a supervisor for guidance on competition matters and plan preparation.
- The business plan presentation must be conducted in Macau.
- The business plan must be related to Information and Communication Technology.

- Registration Opens: April 1, 2015
- Registration Deadline: June 30, 2015 (Extended)
- Mandatory Workshop: July 3, 2015 (Teaches how to write a business plan and features guest speakers)
- Business Plan Submission Deadline: August 3, 2015, 5:00 PM
- Finalists Announcement: August 10, 2015
- Final Competition: August 15, 2015, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Concept Presentation)
- Awards Ceremony: August 17, 2015, 12:30 PM (Venue to be announced)

Notes:
(*) To receive startup capital and incubation support, winning teams must commence their business plan and establish a company in Macau. If the champion team forfeits, the benefits will be passed to the next eligible team that establishes a company.
(#) Winning teams receive training course vouchers:
- 1st Place: MOP 1,500 in vouchers
- 2nd Place: MOP 1,000 in vouchers
- 3rd Place: MOP 500 in vouchers

Registration & Submission
- Registration Period: April 1 – June 19, 2015. Register online at the official competition website.
- Submission Deadline: August 3, 2015, 5:00 PM.
- Submission Address: Macau Innovation Technology Center, 7th Floor, Macau Square, No. 43-53A Avenida do Infante D. Henrique, Macau.
- Required Materials:
- Business plan on CD/DVD (.pdf or .doc format).
- Optional: A business plan introduction video (no longer than 5 minutes).
- Finalist list (up to 10 teams) will be announced on August 10, 2015, on the official website.
Additional Information
- Business plan template is available for download on the official website.
- Each plan should not exceed 30 A4 pages (including images, charts, appendices) and must be written in English or Chinese.
