Event Overview

From late October to November 2013, the UA Galaxy Cinema in Macau hosted the Macau Horror Movie Festival. The festival featured a curated selection of over 10 horror films, with one screening per day. The lineup primarily consisted of films that had previously been released in Hong Kong.

Featured Films

The festival showcased a diverse range of horror cinema from across Asia and beyond, including:

• Hong Kong Ghost Stories: Tales from the Dark 1 and Tales from the Dark 2 (released in 2013).
• Japanese Horror: Sadako 2 and Sadako 3D.
• Thai Horror: Dark Flight and 3 A.M..
• American Horror: The Conjuring (2013).
