Overview
The Macau Grand Prix Committee invites students to participate in a creative competition to design a promotional game themed around the Macau Grand Prix, an annual signature event of Macau.
Competition Details
- Theme: "Grand Prix, We Support"
- Objective: To encourage students to unleash their creativity and design a promotional game centered on the Macau Grand Prix, fostering a sense of carnival and community participation.
- Eligibility:
- Students enrolled in higher education programs in Macau.
- Macau residents studying higher education programs outside of Macau.
- Participants can enter individually or as a team, with no limit on team size.
- Submission Deadline: September 5, 2014. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Submission Requirements
- The game design must revolve around the theme "Grand Prix, We Support."
- The design proposal must include:
- Creative concept
- Gameplay mechanics
- Prop/equipment setup
- 10 racing-themed quiz questions for the game
- Participants must complete the online registration form and submit their game design proposal electronically.
Prizes
- Grand Prix Award (2 winners): Each winner will receive MOP 10,000 and a trophy.
Judging Criteria
A judging panel organized by the Macau Grand Prix Committee will evaluate entries based on:
- Relevance to the theme
- Creativity and originality of the concept
- Practicality and playability of the game
Important Notes & Rules
- Each participant/team may submit only one entry. Duplicate submissions will be disqualified.
- All submitted works become the property of the Macau Grand Prix Committee. The Committee reserves the right to use, display, or publish the works in any form.
- Entries must be original, unpublished, and must not have won any previous awards or been adopted by other organizations.
- Participants are solely responsible for any copyright, portrait rights, or reputation issues related to their submissions.
- Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. Participants will bear all legal responsibilities for any disputes arising from infringement.
- Submitted works will not be returned. Submission implies full and unconditional acceptance of all competition rules.
- The list of winners and the award ceremony date will be announced separately.
- The Macau Grand Prix Committee reserves the right to interpret the rules, make final decisions on competition results, and disqualify any participant for misconduct.
