The Macau Golf Open 2014, also known as The Venetian Macau Open, is one of the most prestigious events on the Asian professional golf tour. This third edition sees a field of 144 world-class professional golfers converging in Macau to compete for the championship title.
All eyes will be on former world number one, Ernie Els, who made his debut at this event last year and finished tied for third. He will be competing against the 2013 champion, Scott Hend of Australia, and a full roster of international players, many of whom are multiple winners on the European and Asian Tours.
The Macau Golf & Country Club is located at the southern tip of Coloane Island. It is renowned as one of Macau's most beautiful golf courses, offering panoramic views of the Pearl River and Hac Sa Beach.
