Macau's First Perfume Blending Competition - Registrations are now open!
Key Information
- Registration Period: October 6 – December 20, 2016
- Eligibility: Open to all single individuals aged 30 and above who are perfume enthusiasts or interested in perfume blending.
Competition Rules & Requirements

Round 1 (Preliminary) - 'Encounter' Perfume
- Participants must attend the 'Creating Your Personal Signature Perfume - Beginner Sharing Session'.
- Create an original 'Encounter' themed perfume.

Round 2 (Main Competition) - 'Love' Perfume
- Participants must attend the 'Creating Your Personal Signature Perfume - Intermediate Sharing Session'.
- Create an original 'Love' themed perfume.

Final Round - 'Marriage' Perfume
- Participants must attend the 'Creating Your Personal Signature Perfume - Advanced Sharing Session'.
- Create an original 'Marriage' themed perfume.
Theme & Submission:
- Participants must submit a total of 3 perfume works based on the theme of 'Love'.
- Each submission must include a 30ml sample and the perfume formula.
- For fairness, participants must be present at the sessions.
- Participants can only use a specified set of ingredients: 10 (beginner), 20 (intermediate), and 30 (advanced) perfume raw materials.
- A minimum of 5 different perfume raw materials must be used in the formula for the competition entry.
Prizes
- Best Male Perfumer: Selected by Macau's citizens. Cash prize equivalent to 10% of the total fees collected from all participants of the beginner, intermediate, and advanced sharing sessions.
- Best Female Perfumer: Selected by Macau's citizens. Cash prize equivalent to 10% of the total fees collected from all participants of the beginner, intermediate, and advanced sharing sessions.
Results & Award Ceremony
- Announcement Date: December 24, 2016
- Results will be announced on the Macau Love Aromatherapy Association's website, Facebook page, and other platforms.
- Note: Macau Love Aromatherapy Lifestyle Association reserves the final right of decision regarding competition results and arrangements.
A special 'Scented Date' on Christmas Eve will be arranged for the final winning male and female perfumers.
