Celebrate two decades of musical excellence with the Macao Youth Symphony Orchestra (MYSO). This special anniversary event features two distinct concerts on a single day, showcasing the talent of past and present members and the vibrant future of youth music in Macao.

"Gathering: Celebrating 20 Years of MYSO" A celebratory concert featuring performances by:

• Pui Ching Middle School String Orchestra & Junior String Orchestra
• Sacred Heart Canossian College (English Section) Orchestra
• Macau Baptist College Primary School Orchestra
• Macao Youth Symphony Orchestra Wind Ensemble
• Macao Youth Symphony Orchestra Junior Orchestra

Evening Concert: 20:00

"Thanksgiving: Remembering the Original Aspiration" A nostalgic and forward-looking gala concert marking the orchestra's 20-year journey. The program revisits the repertoire from MYSO's very first anniversary concert while previewing pieces for an upcoming international tour, symbolizing the passing of the torch to a new generation.

Program Highlights:

• First Half (Conducted by Mr. Chá Wěi Gé): A recreation of the 1st Anniversary Concert.
  • W.A. Mozart: The Marriage of Figaro Overture
  • Franz Schubert: Symphony No. 8 in B minor, D 759 "Unfinished" (First Movement)
  • John Barry: Somewhere in Time (featuring Mr. Chá Wěi Gé on piano)
• Second Half: A preview of the 2017 Germany Tour repertoire.
  • Antonín Dvořák: Symphony No. 9 in E minor, Op. 95 "From the New World"

• Early Bird Discount: 20% off for tickets purchased before June 15.
• Free Afternoon Concert Tickets: Available at the Macao Youth Symphony Orchestra Association office and all Kong Seng outlets.
• Evening Concert Tickets: Available through the Kong Seng Ticketing Network.
