The Macao Orchestra pays tribute to three unparalleled masters of the Classical period, presenting a journey through the evolution of the symphony.
Joseph Haydn, hailed as the "Father of the Symphony," composed over a hundred symphonic works, establishing the form for future generations. His student, Ludwig van Beethoven, with his nine symphonies, radically transformed the expressive language Haydn had pioneered. Bridging these two giants is the musical genius Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. In this concert, the Macao Orchestra honors these three titans of classical music, performing their distinctive symphonies to take the audience on a journey through the symphonic timeline.
