Macao Science Center Activities

The Science Center has designed several booth activities around the theme "The Power of Nature" to enhance public understanding of global climate change, the impact of urban environmental and ecological shifts on flora and fauna, and to raise awareness about biodiversity conservation.

1. The Story of the Specimen Box: A portable case filled with specimens of Macao's distinctive plants and animals tells stories about local biology, botany, and the history of Macao's geographical transformations.
2. The Story of Stones: This box displays various minerals and gemstones. Visitors can use magnifying glasses and microscopes to closely observe and identify each stone.
3. Close Encounter with Insects VR Experience: Using virtual reality technology, visitors can easily get a close-up look at the forms and lives of small insects.

Registration

All the above activities can be registered for on-site at the Macao Science Center booth during the Macao International Museum Day Carnival. The public is welcome to participate!
