About MIECF

Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition (MIECF) is a premier event initiated by the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region (Macao SAR), with a strategic aim to nurture environmental business, technology and information exchange between the Pan-Pearl River Delta Region in Southern China and the international markets. Since its inception in 2008, the event has gone from strength to strength. MIECF has earned increasing popularity amongst industry professionals and was recognized by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) as a "UFI Approved Event" since 2011.

In 2013, MIECF received support from the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the People's Republic of China as special supporting units. It was also co-organized by the governments of the Pan-Pearl River Delta provinces/regions: Fujian, Jiangxi, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, and Hong Kong. This broad support has established MIECF as a premier platform for sustainable business and technology exchange in the Pan-Pearl River Delta region.
