512, 921, 911... numbers and dates forever etched in our hearts... Natural disasters, man-made calamities, catastrophes, wars... they happen every day in different corners of the world. Faced with these disasters and pain, what can we do? Especially for a city like Macao, which once knew little of hardship. This play aims to offer a small gesture of comfort to friends who have endured such pain.
Three different families, two interwoven duets, connected by a single catastrophic event.
Adapted from three monologues based on post-9/11 disaster events in the USA and the short story 'Super-Frog Saves Tokyo' by Japanese author Haruki Murakami.
This production was the first entry from Macao to be selected for the 2013 Beijing International Youth Theatre Festival.
