Many of us understand the importance of "Blood Donation", but do you know how the donated blood is processed before it is issued to hospitals for transfusion? How many types of blood components can be produced from whole blood to meet the needs of different patients?
By visiting this exhibition, you will get to know the procedures and the equipment used in blood processing.

The exhibition features 33 exhibits, including various instruments required for blood testing, such as centrifuges and blood component separators.
A highlight is the "How Much Do You Know About Blood Safety?" multimedia interactive game series, designed by the Macao Science Center using information provided by the Blood Transfusion Center. This series helps the public understand the close relationship between blood and health.
