Competition Overview
To promote the importance of the Basic Law and unleash creative ideas, the organizer is hosting the "Macao Basic Law Promotional Video Creation Competition." The goal is to widely publicize the Basic Law through the creation of promotional videos and deepen the public's understanding of it. All citizens are welcome to participate.
Key Details
- Submission Period: July 12, 2013 – September 30, 2013
- Eligibility: Macao residents and students studying at local institutions.
- Entry Format: Participants can enter as individuals or teams. There is no limit to the number of entries per individual/team, but the same author cannot win multiple top-three prizes with different works.
- Video Requirements: Videos can be live-action or animated, with a maximum length of 60 seconds.
- Submission Method: Participants must submit their work along with a completed entry form to the Secretariat of the organizing association at the ground floor front block, Veng Tak Building, No. 4-6 Rua de São Roque.
Prizes
- Champion (1): MOP 6,000 cash and a certificate.
- First Runner-up (1): MOP 4,000 cash and a certificate.
- Second Runner-up (1): MOP 3,000 cash and a certificate.
- Excellence Award & Best Creativity Award (multiple): MOP 2,000 cash and a certificate each.
Timeline
- Shortlist Announcement: October 25, 2013 (on the organizer's website).
- Public Voting Period: October 25 – November 15, 2013 (via phone or online voting to predict the champion).
- Final Results Announcement: November 28, 2013.
Shortlisted works will be uploaded to the organizer's website and broadcast on Macau Cable TV.
