Overview

Ink art, flowing with consciousness and artistic transformation, represents the origin of Chinese culture. The 'Huayuan' Art Exhibition, part of the 'Art Macao' series, was held from June 7 to September 3 at MGM Cotai, presenting new interpretations of ink art in a novel way.

Featured Works

• Ma Wen's Multimedia Installation: At the Spectacle, the contemporary artist Ma Wen presented the large-scale multimedia installation 'Metamorphosis: Infinity,' transforming the vast space into a stage to showcase various forms of ink art.
• Ma Wen's Opera: The exhibition culminated with 3 exclusive performances of the new-style one-act opera 'The Garden of Mirrors' at the MGM Theater, elevating ink art to an unprecedented level.
• Yang Yongliang's Digital Landscape: At the MGM Theater, Yang Yongliang displayed the digital landscape work 'Nocturnal Revelries II,' presenting the elegance of ink on screen and depicting the fluid changes of the city in a captivating manner.

Both artists masterfully blend traditional artistic elements with modern technology, presenting the essence of Chinese culture and art, allowing the audience to immerse themselves in the beauty of ink art as if on a journey.
