Purpose
In the face of the global COVID-19 pandemic, this competition aims to encourage students to unleash their creativity through slogan design. It invites reflection on the meaning of life during the pandemic, fosters greater awareness of society and the world, and promotes gratitude for the people and things around us, encouraging a positive attitude towards life's ups and downs.

Participant Categories & Eligibility
- Tertiary Group: Students enrolled in Macao higher education institutions or Macao students studying at overseas higher education institutions.
- Secondary School Group: Students enrolled in Macao secondary schools or Macao students studying at overseas secondary schools.
- Primary School Group: Students enrolled in Macao primary schools.
Competition Rules
- The work must align with the competition theme and possess the characteristics of a clear, understandable, and easily promotable slogan.
- The entry must be text-based, limited to 20 Chinese characters or 40 English words (punctuation not included). Languages can be Chinese, English, or a mix.
- Entries must be original, not plagiarized, free of vulgar language, and must not infringe upon the rights of others. Entries violating copyright laws will be disqualified, and the participant bears all legal responsibility.

How to Apply
- Online Form: Complete the application via https://forms.gle/dJVv6CPBZ75RFCscA.
- Email: Send the completed application form (including the work) to [email protected]. The email subject must be: "Student Slogan Design Competition – Participant's Name".
- In-Person: Submit the completed paper application form to: 9th Floor, Walon Industrial Building, No. 131 Avenida do Almirante Lacerda, Macau.
Judging Criteria
- Competition Categories (Excellence & Finalist Awards): Relevance to theme (30%), Creative expression (30%), Rhetorical quality (20%), Ease of promotion (20%).
- Popularity Award: All entries will be open for public voting on the Macao Students' Union WeChat Official Account (ID: aecm1950) from October 8, 2020, until 23:59 on October 14, 2020. The entry with the highest votes wins. In case of a tie, judges will select the winner based on content quality. Any dishonest voting practices (e.g., vote buying) will result in disqualification.
Results Announcement
Results will be announced on the Macao Students' Union website (www.aecm.org.mo) on October 20, 2020.
Important Notes
- Each participant may submit only one entry.
- Entries must not have been previously published in other competitions, publications, or public forums.
- The copyright and usage rights of all entries will be unconditionally transferred to the Macao Chinese Students' Union.
- The Macao Chinese Students' Union reserves the final right of interpretation regarding the competition results.
