Competition Overview

A poster design competition inviting Macau residents to creatively express their connection with the city's Light Rail Transit (LRT) system.

Eligibility

• Macau residents aged 16 or above.
• Must participate in a personal capacity.
• Employees of the organizer, their family members, and anyone involved in planning or executing the competition are not eligible.

Submission Specifications

• Format: Flat poster (Size: A2). Orientation (portrait/landscape) is not specified.
• File Format: Original artwork must be in AI or PSD format. A JPEG or PDF file must also be submitted.
• Resolution: Electronic files must have sufficient resolution for A2-size poster output.
• Anonymity: No personal information of the participant should be displayed on the artwork itself, except on the entry form.

Judging Criteria

• Theme Presentation (40%): Adherence to the theme.
• Creative Expression (30%): Novelty and creativity of the concept.
• Technical Skill (30%): Skill in handling materials and execution.

Submission Method & Location

• How to Submit: Bring the completed entry form and CD containing the artwork to the Light Zone - Taipa LRT Contact Station.
• Collection Point Hours: Monday to Saturday, 08:00–20:00.
• Limit: Maximum one entry per participant.
• Note: All submitted works will not be returned.

Deadline

• Submission Deadline: October 31, 2013, 8:00 PM.

Prizes

• Champion (1): MOP 2,000
• First Runner-up (1): MOP 1,000
• Second Runner-up (1): MOP 800
• Merit Awards (10): MOP 300 each

• Results will be announced in November 2013 via newspapers and the Transport Infrastructure Office website.

Important Rules & Regulations

• Entries must be original, unpublished, have not won any previous awards, and not been used by other organizations.
• Copyright and usage rights of winning entries will belong to the Transport Infrastructure Office.
• Winners are obliged to further refine or modify their designs upon request from the Transport Infrastructure Office.
• The Transport Infrastructure Office reserves the right to use non-winning entries for competition-related promotion without prior notice or compensation.
• Participation implies acceptance of all competition rules and the final results.

Disclaimer

• The organizer is not liable for damage, loss, or incompleteness of entries caused by third parties.
• Entries not complying with the rules will not be judged, and participants will not be notified individually.
• The organizer reserves the right to suspend, terminate, interpret the rules, and disqualify participants.
