Event Overview
Organized by Macao "Ping On Tong" Emergency Call Service Centre, the "Lifetime Beauty" Micro Film Creation Competition aims to encourage the younger generation to understand the lives of the elderly positively, promote intergenerational harmony, and use film and youthful creativity to raise social awareness of hidden elderly individuals, encouraging seniors to integrate into society and live fulfilling lives.
Competition Details
Eligibility
- Must be a Macao citizen aged 16 or above.
- The competition is divided into a Student Category and an Open Category. Student Category members must be full-time secondary school or tertiary institution students.
- Participants can enter individually or as a team of 2 to 5 people.
Submission Requirements
- Theme: The work must focus on the life stories of the elderly, reflecting their positive and optimistic attitude towards life through compelling narratives and unique visuals.
- Duration: The total film length must be a minimum of 5 minutes and a maximum of 15 minutes.
- Limit: Each individual or team is limited to one submission. Co-produced works are also limited to one submission.
- Location & Consent: Filming location is unrestricted, but prior consent from interviewees is required. A signed consent form from the filming subject must be submitted along with the work.
Important Dates
- Registration Period: From now until July 10, 2013.
- Submission Deadline: July 31, 2013.
- Results Announcement: Participants will be notified by phone and email before August 10, 2013. Results will also be published on the Ping On Tong website and Facebook page.
- Awards Ceremony & Sharing Session: August 10, 2013.
Submission Method
Submit the competition work recorded on a CD in person to the Macao "Ping On Tong" Emergency Call Service Centre. The CD cover must indicate the event name, participant/team name, contact phone number, and other relevant details.
Prizes
Student Category
- First Prize: MOP 2000 in vouchers and souvenirs.
- Second Prize: MOP 1000 in vouchers and souvenirs.
- Third Prize: MOP 800 in vouchers and souvenirs.
Open Category
- First Prize: MOP 3000 in vouchers and souvenirs.
- Second Prize: MOP 2000 in vouchers and souvenirs.
- Third Prize: MOP 1000 in vouchers and souvenirs.

- Notes:
- The organizer reserves the final right of interpretation for this event.
- Staff of the organizing unit and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
- Submitted works must not be plagiarized or imitated; otherwise, the organizer has the right to disqualify the participant.
- The organizer holds the right to use winning works for promoting "Ping On Tong" services.
