Welcome the Lunar New Year with a vibrant array of traditional festivities across Macau. This special celebration for the Year of the Horse features cultural performances, temple visits, fireworks, and festive greetings throughout the city.
Key Activities & Highlights
- Firecrackers and Fireworks Zones: Legally set up for public enjoyment.
- Incense and Pinwheel Stalls: Selling traditional New Year items for blessings and good fortune.
- Cultural Performances: Including folk dances from Tibet, lion dances, and a Lantern Festival variety show.
- New Year Greetings: Characters like the 12 Chinese Zodiac signs, Gods of Fortune, and Macau Tourism Ambassadors will visit major landmarks to distribute "Lai See" (lucky money packets).
