About the Choir
The legendary Les Petits Chanteurs à la Croix de Bois (The Little Singers of Paris), founded in 1907, brings its angelic voices to Zhuhai. Known as the 'Little Singers of Peace,' the choir has captivated audiences worldwide for over a century with its pure, crystalline sound.
History & Legacy
- Founded: 1907 by two young students in Paris.
- First Rehearsal: January 10, 1907.
- Debut: October 1907 at the Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois church in the Louvre.
- Iconic Image: Choir members are known for wearing white linen surplices and small wooden crosses.
- Musical Evolution: Under the leadership of supervisor Maillet from 1924, the repertoire expanded from sacred music to include French popular songs, foreign songs, and works by great composers.
- Global Ambassadors: The choir pioneered international tours, first visiting neighboring countries and then embarking on a groundbreaking tour of North America in 1931. They have since toured the world four times and performed in over 80 countries.
- Current Leadership: Led by Music Director Laura Zimmermann, the choir continues its mission as messengers of peace.

- Latecomers will be admitted during a suitable break in the program.
- Children under 1.2 meters tall are not permitted (except for designated children's performances).
- Children 1.2 meters and above require a ticket and must be accompanied by an adult.
- Photography and video recording during the performance are strictly prohibited.
- Food and drinks are not allowed in the auditorium.
- One ticket per person. Full price applies to children.
